These lovely amazonite star earrings are simply out of this world.
 
Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using natural amazonite star beads and a pair of stylish 15mm sterling silver hinged full hoops.
 
The amazonite stars are a beautiful AA-grade quality and each stone is approximately 11mm in diameter - each one is beautifully cut and they are a fantastic greeny-blue colour.
 
Amazonite, also known as Amazonstone, is a variety from the Feldspar family, easily identifiable by its vibrant semi-opaque aqua blue tones and subtle white veining.
 
The hoops are lightweight and comfortable, and feature a hinge and catch - the ear stem clicks into the catch when closing. The hoops are a substantial 2mm thick and look beautiful with the amazonite stars, but the gems can also be removed (via the earring catch end) if desired. 
 
There is a matching necklace which can be bought separately, or both are available as part of a set.
