These delightful amethyst nugget dangles are really lovely.
 
Each pair is handmade in my Somerset studio using chunky natural amethysts, a pair of contemporary sterling silver shepherds crook-style earwires, and lengths of recycled sterling silver trace chain.
 
The amethyst nuggets are a lovely quality and each stone is approximately 6mm x 11mm in size - they are beautifully cut, making each stone unique, and are a lovely rich shade of purple.
 
Amethyst, a variety of quartz, is easily identifiable by its violet to purple colours which are caused by the presence of iron in the quartz.
 
The earrings are lightweight and comfortable, and are perfect for dressing up or down due to their subtle yet playful nature - they'd really suit any occasion.
